Daily Morning Prayer with Scriptures: November 3, 2026 (Tuesday)
Good morning. It is Tuesday, and in the USA it is Election Day. Wherever you live, take the first few minutes to bring your community and your leaders to God. This short prayer takes about three minutes and works wherever you are: the USA, UK, Canada, Nigeria or anywhere else. It is for peace and wisdom, not for any party or candidate.
Today’s Morning Scriptures
“Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance.” (Psalm 33:12, KJV)
“And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever.” (Isaiah 32:17, KJV)
“The king’s heart is in the hand of the LORD, as the rivers of water: he turneth it whithersoever he will.” (Proverbs 21:1, KJV)
A Quick Thought
Our hope does not rest on any ruler or result. It rests on the God who reigns over every nation, which lets us pray with calm instead of fear.
Today’s Morning Prayer
Praise
Lord, You reign over every nation. Thank You that no election, headline or outcome is outside Your sight.
Surrender
Father, I give You this Tuesday and every worry I have about the news. Let Your peace rule in my heart.
Leaders
Give wisdom, honesty and a servant heart to everyone in authority, in my city, my nation and around the world.
Peace and Fairness
Keep voting places, communities and cities calm and safe. Let every process be fair, and protect everyone who takes part.
Unity
Heal divisions between neighbours, families and churches. Help us to disagree with kindness and respect.
Protection
Cover my family, my home and everyone I love. Keep us safe in all our going out and coming in.
Provision and Favour
Meet my needs today, and let Your favour go before me as I work and serve.
Others
Show me one person I can treat with extra patience and kindness today, especially someone who sees things differently from me.
A Short Declaration to Speak Aloud
God reigns over every nation. His righteousness brings peace, and I will be a peacemaker today.
Closing Prayer
Thank You, Father, for hearing me. I walk into this Tuesday trusting You and not the headlines. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Today’s Morning Action Step
Pray by name for one leader you voted for and one you did not. Then say one kind word to someone with a different view.
